Council Closes Road at X Factor House!

Barnet Council is closing the road at the X Factor house to protect young fans hoping to catch a glimpse of their idols.

The road next to the X Factor house which has been flooded with teenage fans is being shut off amid "safety fears".

Fans have spent their half term donning "Jedward" masks, paying homage to spiky-haired twins John and Edward Grimes.

A statement from Barnet Council said: "The decision has been taken to protect children and teenagers who have been amassing in the road outside the property."

Councillor Andrew Harper added: "I appreciate the nuisance that this crowd is causing some local residents but our priority has to be to ensure that these young people are safe. We have rain forecast for the weekend and I hope that, and the end of half term, will bring an end to the problem. In the meantime I trust the fans outside the house realise that this is a residential street and will act accordingly."

The road is apparently a known 'short cut' for motorists and therefor the council were forced to take action.

I do not honestly think that Danyl and Miss Frank should have been in the bottom 2 last week and likewise i don't think Lloyd and Rachel should have been there this week. I do think Rachel was and is the better singer between her and Lloyd even if Lloyd had not been ill. Yes the twins should have been long gone by now. They can't sing, yes they are entertaining but this is a singing competition for people with real gifted raw talent and Jedward DO NOT qualify for that catagory. It's a shame and startling to note they were top of the votes last week. If thats true then it just shows the mentality of the people who voted for them and how much those people can recognise great singers from the kareoke wannabes. 	Trish发表: Before anyone wastes any more money voting read the article in the sun today - Shane from Westlife says Simon and Louis showed them a clip of the twins in JUNE and Simon told them the twins would be in the final 12 and "would be huge". This whole thing has been orchestrated to suck us all in and generate maximum headlines - when Simon says he will leave the country if they win he knows more people will vote and generate more money. You can see Simon getting really upset with the twins each week but they are getting the votes and that's what the show is all about ( what the British public want ).
